Nearly two-thirds of marketers plan to incorporate video in their campaigns in the year ahead, with Facebook and YouTube ranking as the top two channels for distributing video content to the masses, according to new data.
The "2016 Social Video Forecast" by Animoto shows Facebook as the top video distribution channel for marketing professionals at small and medium-sized businesses, though emerging channels such as Instagram are gaining some interest from those marketers.
"Eighty-four percent of marketers and 55 percent of SMB owners say they created or commissioned a marketing video in the past 12 months," according to MediaPost. "As marketers see return on their video investments, they plan to invest further." Read more.
